Tempted
Tempted lives in the tension between desire and restraint. Figures emerge and dissolve in a swirl of saturated color and shadow—caught in a moment of longing, uncertainty, or perhaps surrender. The heart-like shape radiating heat from the background suggests passion, but the black drips cut through it like consequence. There’s beauty here, but also danger. Seduction, but also hesitation. The boundaries are blurred, just like the figures themselves. This piece is about the magnetism of what we want—and the fear of what it might cost to reach for it.
