Mourner's, Speedbump, Gravesite
Inspired by my wife's recent memorial, this spontaneous mixed-media painting came about quickly. I always thought it was odd that cemeteries have speed bumps throughout the paved roads leading to your loved one's gravesite. Sort of funny, kind of poetic, in any case, this painting evokes the harsh realities of dealing with the process of pain.
